Power outages last more than 12 hours in South Columbia

One hundred five customers lost power due to an outage in South Columbia Saturday night.

Columbia's outage map showed the power was not restored until after 8 a.m. Sunday.

The outage impacted households on Belinda Ct., Skylark Dr. and Cumberland Rd., among others. The outage was reported at 7:43 p.m. Saturday, according to the map.

A crew was assigned to respond to the issue. The cause was listed as "unknown" around 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

Boone County Joint Communication also reported the traffic signal at East Business Loop and Garth Ave. is out, creating a hazard.

ABC 17 News has contacted a City of Columbia spokesperson for more information.
