Boil water advisory issued for Centertown residents

CENTERTOWN, Mo. (KMIZ)

A boil water advisory has been issued for all residents in the Village of Centertown who receive their water from Centertown Waterworks.

According to a press release, the advisory is being issued after possible unsanitary conditions were found.

The advisory is in effect until further notice. It will be lifted once water quality has been verified, according to the city.

According to the CDC, a boil water advisory is issued when community water could have germs that can make you sick.
