Nearly 700 Three Rivers Electric customers lose power; power since restored

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three Rivers Electric Cooperative stated on its Facebook page that 695 of its customers had lost power around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The company later stated that the outage was caused from lightning striking a pole.

It appeared that power had been restored by 8:05 p.m.

The Cole County R-5 School District had posted on its Facebook that the outage led to the remainder of Thursday nights basketball games to be postponed.
