Cole County Sheriff’s Dept. arrests two after armed robbery; searching for third suspect

COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Jan. 8, Cole County Sheriff's deputies responded to an armed robbery on the 5200 block of Bagnall Drive.

Officials report three people allegedly stole a large amount of money from a man at gunpoint.

Officials report that a 16-year-old was arrested within the hour of the robbery. Deputies report the juvenile is was arrested on charges of armed criminal action and 1st-degree robbery.

On Feb. 1, officials say Jerome Jones, 20, of St. Louis, was arrested for being part of the robbery. Jones is charged with 1st-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Jones was given no bond as online documents say he is a flight risk and a danger to the community.

Deputies report the investigation is ongoing with additional arrests and charges are expected to be filed.
