Woman recovering after single-vehicle car crash in Camden County

CAMDEN, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Gardner, Kansas woman is recovering Sunday morning after getting into a car crash in Camden County Saturday night.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says that Lauren Havlik, 19, was traveling South on of Sassafrass Ridge Road on Missouri Route 7 around 10:30 pm, when her vehicle began to skid. Havlik drove off the right side of the road, the vehicle overturned and she was ejected from the car.

The report states that Havlik was not wearing a seatbelt.

She was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries.
