Multiple arrests made after chase in Callaway County

The Callaway County sheriff said multiple people were arrested after a chase ended between Fulton and New Bloomfield Wednesday.

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Callaway County sheriff said multiple people were arrested after a chase started by Jefferson City police ended between Fulton and New Bloomfield.

According to Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism, deputies assisted with Jefferson City police for a chase Wednesday. Chism said deputies pursued at least one vehicle on U.S. Highway 54 near New Bloomfield.

The sheriff reported spike strips were used to stop the vehicle. Chism said the chase ended near the intersection of 54 and Highway BB.

It's unclear how many people were arrested. Charges have not been filed in the case.
