Police: Employee dies at Caterpillar facility in Boonville
BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
An employee of Caterpillar Inc. died Monday morning at its Boonville facility, according to the Boonville Police Department.
“Officers did respond to a medical call at Caterpillar this morning. An employee died inside the factory,” Assistant Chief of Boonville Police Joe Pangburn said in an email. “The death is still under investigation but at this time there is no evidence to suggest foul play and it does not seem to be a workplace related incident.”
An accident report has not been filed to OSHA, according to online records.
