Child in Boone County head-on crash dies
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A child who was hurt in the crash that killed two men southeast of Columbia earlier this week has died, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The 6-year-old boy was a rear-seat passenger in a vehicle driven by Steve Drupp, 34, of Fulton, who died in the crash that happened Wednesday morning on New Haven Road, according to the sheriff's department. Two children in Drupp's car were rushed to a hospital after the head-on crash.
There was no word on the other child's condition. The sheriff's office has not said what caused the crash and says the investigation is ongoing.
The driver of the other vehicle, Jason Logsdon, 41, of Columbia, was also killed in the crash.
The sheriff's office said the 6-year-old was in a booster seat and that both children were properly restrained.
