Troop F responds to fiery crash Saturday afternoon

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F investigated a crash on I-70 that had a car in flames.

In a photo shared by Troop F, a car is flipped onto its side with black smoke and flames coming out of it.

The crash happened in Boone County near mile marker 120. It closed down a portion of the road for some time, but it was reopened around 2:40 p.m.

Troopers are still looking into the cause of it but said one person sustained serious injuries.
