Salt Creek Bridge reopens on the Katy Trail
ROCHEPORT, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Salt Creek Bridge on the Katy Trail is now back open after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The bridge was closed in 2019 flooding in the Missouri River washed it off its pilings.
That section of the trail has been closed to visitors ever since.
The bridge is about two and a half miles northwest of Rocheport and connects the trail from Rocheport to Boonville.
It's 151 feet long and can hold up to 20 tons.
