Several power outages reported across Mid-Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Several power outages are being reported in mid-Missouri counties.

The largest outage currently is being reported in Saline County. Evergy is reporting 482 customers currently being affected. The outage was reported at 11 p.m. Evergy is currently reporting restoration at 12:30 a.m. Friday. The company is also reporting 768 customers without power in Chariton County near Mendon.

More than 300 customers of Boone Electric Cooperative were without power shortly before 2:00 a.m. Friday. According to a spokesperson with Boone Electric, lightning likely struck a substation in western Boone County. They did not immediately have an estimated time of restoration, but crews were on scene working to restore power.

Columbia Water and Light is reporting 152 customers currently without power off of Green Meadows.

Howard Electric Cooperative is reporting 14 customers currently without power in Howard County.

Ameren Energy is reporting 180 customers without power between Centralia and Hallsville

Consolidated Electric Cooperative is reporting a total of 220 customers without power, with140 customers without power north of Centralia and 39 customers in Monroe County.
