Columbia man faces multiple drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday

Hallsville police reportedly found multiple drugs inside the vehicle after pulling over Levi Gaddy, 35, of Columbia, Thursday night for a traffic violation.

According to a social media post by the city, a probable cause search of the vehicle revealed nearly 2.5 pounds of marijuana, 14 THC vape cartridges and several pieces of wax paper with THC wax.

Police also report that they found a zip-lock bag with a white powder inside on the defendant. After a narcotics field test was conducted on the powder, a presumptive positive was received for cocaine.

Gaddy is charged with two counts of possession of controlled substance and delievery of controlled substance.

Gaddy has an initial court appearance on May 19.
