Two facing charges after Claudell lane shooting on March 9

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men are accused of a shooting at people near the 1000 block of Claudell lane on March 9.

According to court documents, Christopher Weaver and Javan Harris were identified by the shooting victims.

Police have video of the shooting where Weaver and Harris are seen running away from the crime scene according to the probable cause statement.

Police report evidence at the scene shows a vehicle was hit five times but the shooting and two apartment buildings had damage from the shooting.

Police recovered nine shell casings at the scene.

Both men are charged with two counts of first-degree assault and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.

Columbia police continue to search for Weaver and Harris.
