A 74-year-old woman has died after a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in Centralia.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports, Sharon Uebinger, of Centralia was walking just to the south of Lakeview Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The report said Amy Rievley, 36, of Glasgow was driving eastbound on Lakeview Avenue, traveled off the side of the road and hit Uebinger. Rievley made a u-turn, traveled off the side of the road again and drove away from the scene, troopers said.

Uebinger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the report. Troopers said she was pronounced dead at 12:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Rievley was arrested just before midnight in Howard County on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and careless and imprudent driving.

Boone County prosecutors filed a count each of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident against Rievley.

As of Wednesday, Rievley was still in the Boone County jail being held on $6,000 bond.
