Audrain County Health Department names Craig Brace as new Administrator

MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Audrain County Health Department Board of Health announced Craig Brace as its new Administrator/CEO.

Audrain County Health Department Chairperson Dr. Kathleen Weaver said, “Craig is an exceptional leader. His track record in healthcare has been extraordinary. Craig was chosen in a formal selection process from a strong field of candidates. He is a highly impressive talent known for his collaborative leadership style and for building high-performance healthcare teams.”

“And, I’m excited to lead this wonderful team of dedicated colleagues, and look forward to working with the ACHD Board of Health. We have a great team of individuals, a bold vision for the future and a winning strategy that has enabled ACHD to have a rich history of promoting and protecting the health of the residents of Audrain County,” Craig Brace said. “Building further on this success is a challenge I accept with confidence, determination and excitement. I am passionately committed to placing our clients at the absolute center of everything we do. I am determined to continue to fulfill ACHD’s mission to protect and promote the public health and community well-being of the residents of Audrain County.”

Brace holds a BS degree from Southwest Baptist University with a concentration in health promotion and wellness. He is board-certified in healthcare management by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is a Fellow of ACHE.
