JERUSALEM (AP) — An Israeli producer of Hollywood blockbuster films has taken the stand in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, describing to the court how he routinely delivered tens of thousands of dollars of Champagne, cigars and other gifts requested by the Israeli leader in exchange for help with Milchan’s personal and business needs. Milchan began testifying Sunday in one of three cases being brought against Netanyahu. The other two, for which he Netanyahu is charged with bribery, fraud and breach of trust, accuse Netanyahu of exchanging regulatory favors with powerful media moguls for more positive coverage. Netanyahu denies wrongdoing.
