Calm after quake: Greek PM says tension with Turkey easing

Greece’s prime minister says the earthquake in Turkey and a recent train crash in Greece have helped to de-escalate tensions between the two neighboring countries. Both Greece and Turkey face upcoming national elections, and there had previously been concerns over a possible escalation of disputes over boundaries and drilling rights in the eastern Mediterranean. But Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said the outpouring of sympathy and solidarity between the two countries had helped de-escalate tension.
