Beamer Break: South Carolina football coach injures his foot in a frustrated, postgame kick

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Add coach Shane Beamer to South Carolina’s injury list with a broken bone in his right foot following his team’s 41-39 loss to Florida. Beamer said he kicked something “I shouldn’t have kicked” after the Gators rallied from 10-points down in the fourth quarter to win Saturday. Beamer thought the pain would subside but eventually got the foot checked out and learned about the break. Beamer doesn’t believe he needs surgery and plans to be on the sideline when his team faces No. 20 Missouri on Saturday.
