Kyle Isbel’s go-ahead bunt lifts Royals over Astros 10-8 for fourth straight win

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Kyle Isbel’s bunt single lifted the Kansas City Royals past the Houston Astros 10-8 on Saturday night. Isbel’s seventh-inning RBI bunt broke a 6-all tie for the Royals fourth straight win and a second consecutive series win for Kansas City. Logan Porter connected for his first career home run and James McArthur earned his first major league victory. Taylor Clarke earned his second save. Jose Altuve’s three-run homer tied the game in the top half of the inning, as the Astros overcame an early 4-0 deficit. Houston lost their first series since late June, having won 10-of-12 series with two splits.
