KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Royals scored five times off the Dodgers’  Julio Urías in the first inning before holding on for 6-4 victory. Urías had just returned from an injured hamstring and was making his first appearance since May 18. It was just the second win for Kansas City in its last 10 meetings with Los Angeles. The Dodgers had a chance to take the lead with the bases loaded and one out in the eighth, but Yonny Hernandez struck out and Freddie Freeman grounded out. Daniel Lynch earned the win for Kansas City, even though he allowed three runs and needed 108 pitches to get through five innings.
