St. Louis police ID man fatally hit by car that fled scene
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police have identified a Missouri man who was fatally run over and dragged by a car that then fled the scene in St. Louis. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the crash happened late Sunday night in the city’s Walnut Park West neighborhood, killing 47-year-old Damian Moore, of Country Club Hills. A witness reported having a brief conversation with Moore as the two met on Goodfellow Boulevard. The witness said a car drive toward them, then veered into oncoming lanes to hit Moore. Police say the car then dragged Moore south along the street before fleeing. Police have not identified any suspects, and no arrests have been made.
