Teen pleads guilty in death of southeast Missouri man

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (AP) — A southeast Missouri teenager has pleaded guilty in the death of man in 2020. Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Russ Oliver says Evan Schrader, of Benton, pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the January 2020 death of 61-year-old Robert Harwood. The victim’s body was found at his home in Advance. Schrader was 15 at the time of Harwood’s death but he was tried as an adult. An adult male and another juvenile were also charged in Harwood’s death.
