Two St. Louis elementary students took guns to school

KMIZ

ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis police say no one will face charges after two elementary school students took guns to school. No one was injured in either incident after adults quickly intercepted the weapons. Police say a second grader brought his parents’ loaded pistol to Pamoja Preparatory Academy last Friday because he wanted to show it to friends. A teacher noticed unusual activity around the boy at recess and confiscated the gun. Two days earlier, a kindergarten student at Woerner Elementary School mistakenly took a backpack that contained his father’s gun to school. Police say the father realized the mistake a short time later and notified the school, which found the gun.
