St. Louis man charged in shooting that killed 2, wounded 1
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 62-year-old St. Louis man has been charged with killing two women and injuring another in a shooting last month. Police said Saturday that Charles Anderson faces two counts of first-degree murder and other charges in the Sept. 17 shooting. Police say the women were shot inside a vacant home in the city’s Fairground neighborhood. Thirty-one-year-old Patrice Wimbley, of Pleasant, and 30-year-old Jamie Willard, of Fenton, died. A 42-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries. Police did not say what prompted the shooting or why they were in the home.
