Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police in St. Louis say a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in south St. Louis. The crash happened Thursday morning between the Benton Park and McKinley Heights neighborhoods. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and police have not released the person’s identity. Police say the car that hit the person initially pulled over before making a U-turn and driving off. No arrests have been announced in the case.
