Police say man found shot to death in Ferguson on Sunday

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Police in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson say a man was found shot to death on a street over the weekend. The St. Louis County police say the shooting happened Sunday morning, when officers were called around 7:15 a.m. to Barbados Lane after a gunshot warning system detected gunshots in the area. Arriving officers found a man on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. Police have not released his name or any other details about the shooting. No arrests have been announced in the case.
