Man shot to death in St. Louis suburb of Ferguson

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in Ferguson on Sunday morning. Police said officers found the man with gunshot wounds around 7:15 a.m. Sunday in the St. Louis suburb. He died at the scene. The gunshots were detected by the ShotSpotter system of microphones that is used to pinpoint gunfire around the city. Ferguson police asked St. Louis County detectives to lead the investigation. No other details were released about the shooting or the victim.
