KMIZ

CHICAGO (AP) — The surging St. Louis Cardinals have activated right-handers Jack Flaherty and Dakota Hudson. The Cardinals have won 12 in a row heading into a day-night doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Flaherty had been sidelined by a right shoulder strain. He will start the second game against Zach Davies. Hudson has been added as the 29th man for the doubleheader. He is coming back from Tommy John surgery almost a year ago.
