Missouri man drowns while trying to help his children

STONE COUNTY, Mo. (AP) — An eastern Missouri man drowned in Table Rock Lake while trying to help his children. The Missouri Highway Patrol said Bradley Bruce, 44, died Wednesday after he dove into the water from a boat and did not resurface. His body wasn’t found until Friday evening. Bruce was from Byrnes Mill in Jefferson County.
