Police investigate fatal shooting in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Police in Kansas City, Kansas, are investigating a fatal shooting. The shooting was reported shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday. Kansas City Kansas Police spokesman Tom Tomasic said the shooting was reported near North 3rd Street and Richmond Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a Black woman dead inside a vehicle. The woman’s name and age was not immediately released.
