Missouri Realtors host ‘Protect Your Power’ rally in Columbia against ballot amendments

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri Realtors Association will host a "Protect Your Power: Vote No" rally in Columbia on Thursday.

The rally is in opposition to amendments 4 and 5 on the Aug. 4 ballot.

Amendment 4 would require a ballot measure to be approved in each of the state's congressional districts, instead of by a simple statewide majority. Amendment 5 seeks to eliminate Missouri's income tax and expand sales taxes.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
