1 dead in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A second deadly crash in as many days occurred Friday in Camden County on Highway 5 near the Niangua Bridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol announced on its social media.

MSHP’s Troop F – which covers much of Mid-Missouri – first announced at 6:57 p.m. that troopers were investigation a head-on crash that involved an impaired driver. Multiple people were reported injured.

MSHP announced the fatality at 8:51 p.m. The road at the Niangua Bridge is still blocked “as investigators reconstruct the crash,” the post says.

A Colorado woman died in a head-on crash that occurred Thursday on Highway 7 and led to three other people being injured.
