PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A person was critically injured and hospitalized after a house fire in Pulaski County on Sunday, according to a social media post from the Tri-County Fire Protection District.

According to the post, crews were called to the 400 block of North Pine Street in Richland around 4:30 a.m. The callers told the dispatcher that a home was on fire and that someone inside of the home was injured, the post says.

Crews found heavy fire coming from the front side of the home upon arrival.

The victim was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital. They were listed in critical condition as of Sunday morning, the post says.

The fire was brought under control around 5:30 a.m. and the scene was cleared around 8:45 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
