COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Center Shawn Phillips Jr. led all scorers with a team-best 17 points, along with eight rebounds and two blocks.

Four other Tigers got into double-digit scoring, as well. Guard/forward Mark Mitchell was right behind Phillips Jr. with 15 points of his own, guards Sebastian Mack and Annor Boateng each tallied 12 points, while guard T.O. Barrett rounded out the double-figures club with 11 points.

Once again, Mizzou eclipsed 50 percent shooting for the seventh-straight game, making 52.3 percent of its field goals. Coach Gates' crew especially dominated inside, on Monday, as they held a 52-26 advantage in the paint and a 36-10 lead in second-chance points.

MU also had a good defensive outing against the Bulldogs, holding them to just 37.5 percent shooting, which is the fifth time this season Mizzou has held an opponent to under 40 percent shooting.

Up next - Mizzou will look to continue its dominant start in a matchup against Coach Gates' old program, Cleveland State. The Tigers and the Vikings will tip off at 1 p.m. on Friday.
