Warrensburg sex offender sentenced 25 years for federal child porn charges

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A sex offender from Warrensburg was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for distributing and possessing child pornography, according to a Wednesday press release from the Department of Justice.

William Aloys Wameling, Jr., 39, will also have to pay $99,000 in restitution to the victims. He pleaded guilty to the charges on Aug. 27, 2024, the release says.

He will be required to continuing to register as a sex offender after his release.
