2 men charged with burglary, armed criminal action

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two Columbia men were charged on Monday after they were accused of pulling out guns at a man at a residence on Saturday.

Alban Reed and Jobe Moore were charged with first-degree burglary and armed criminal action. Neither man was listed on the Boone County Jail roster on Monday evening. A court date has not been set. No-bond warrants were issued for both men.

According to the probable cause statement, three men allegedly followed a man to the front door of his residence. Charges were not available for the third man, whose name was redacted in court documents.

The victim claimed that they recognized Moore when Moore pulled out a silver pistol and racked it while the gun was facing the ground. The victim claims that Moore told him to give him “everything” he had, court documents say.

A second man was allegedly holding a gun that was covered by his pants, the statement says. Court documents do not specify which man had the second gun. A witness allegedly told police they then saw the three men run out of the residence.

That witness allegedly referred to Reed by a nickname and was able to identify him from a photo that was provided by police, the statement says.

Court documents say no items were taken and no injuries were reported.
