Amber Alert canceled, three children found safe

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Amber Alert was canceled late Thursday night after three children who were reported missing from Moscow Mills were found safe.

The alert was issued around 6:15 p.m. and canceled just after 10:15 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lauren Castellana, 33, made threats and then left the home with the children, ages 1, 6 and 9, on Tuesday. Authorities said no contact had been made with Castellana or the children since then. The suspect vehicle was last seen Tuesday in Bloomington, Illinois.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post Thursday night that Castellana is the children's mother, and she was also found safe. Authorities did not say where they were located.
