No injuries reported after fire in Hallsville Sunday evening

HALLSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Boone County Fire Protection District battled a fire in Hallsville Sunday evening.
Crews responded to a fire on North Robinson Road around 5 p.m. A controlled burn in a field got out of control, Boone County Assistant Fire Chief Gale Blomenkamp said. The fire was contained shortly before 6 p.m. and crews remained on scene mopping up, according to Blomenkamp.
No injuries were reported.
An ABC 17 News reporter on scene saw several Boone County Fire Department vehicles, at least two fire trucks and smoke and flames coming from the area.
