Sedalia man injured after motorcycle hits deer in Pettis County

A Sedalia man was injured after crashing his motorcycle in Pettis County Friday night.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says a 19-year-old man was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route B, west of Raygar Road at 6:35 p.m. when the vehicle hit a deer.

He was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center with serious injuries.

According to the report, he was wearing the proper safety equipment when the crash occurred.
