Mid-Missouri hair stylists, lifelong friends, travel to their fifth Super Bowl to support the Chiefs
NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMIZ)
On Sunday, over 70-thousand fans will be attending Super Bowl 59 at the Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans.
The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles for the big game, which is a rematch from two years ago.
Two fans attending on Sunday are Judith Lee and Nancy Wilson who work at Green Meadows Hair Company and Spa in Columbia.
"I've lived here since I was 11-years-old," Lee said. "Almost a lifetime. And I love the Midwest and the people and the countryside and everything about it."
The two have been friends since 1978 and have bonded though various work and personal trips. Many of those include Super Bowl trips to Tampa, Phoenix and Las Vegas.

"We feel very fortunate to be able to have done this this many years and hope that we can continue," Wilson said.
In 2023, the two flew to Germany to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Miami Dolphins. The Chiefs won 21-14.
"We were checking into the hotel and I hear her start squealing and I turn around and look and Momma Kelce is beside us," Wilson said. "We had breakfast with Momma Kelce every morning, and it was wonderful."
Wilson said the two decided to make the trip overseas because the team was not playing well at the time and didn't think the Chiefs would be making it to the Super Bowl.
"They cost us two trips last year," Wilson said.
On Friday, the pair flew out of the St. Louis airport to New Orleans.
"My husband started this out on this trip. It's all his fault," Wilson jokingly said. "He brought us here 23 years ago when we played the Rams played here, and so we wanted to do a repeat."
The two shared their score predictions on Saturday for Super Bowl 59 and are hoping for a repeat of last year's win.
"I think it's going to be fairly close, like, you know, 21 to 18 or something like that," Lee said.
Wilson also said she believes the game will be a close one.
The pair said their incredible Super Bowl trips will continue as long as they can do it.
"As long as age allows," Lee said.
