Tracking frigid temperatures but more sunshine tomorrow

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cold with lows near zero.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cold with highs in the upper teens.

EXTENDED: A Weather Alert Day will be in effect from late tonight through Thursday morning as low temperatures will fall to near zero. Wind chills will be a touch colder, but thankfully winds won't be too strong this week. By the end of the week, I'll be tracking low pressure that could bring a swath of light snow between Thursday night and Friday. Accumulations are expected to be light, but could add up to an inch or so, especially across southern portions of the state. Thankfully impacts aren't going to be nearly what we had the last two days, but we'll monitor it closely for any changes. We'll see continued colder than normal temperatures through the first half of next week, but not quite as cold as this current stretch.
