Chargers offensive frustrations continue in 19-17 loss

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Los Angeles Chargers offense continued to struggle in Kansas City, being shut out in the first half for the first time this season while compiling just 131 yards offense. Justin Herbert rallied the offense in the second half, completing his first eight passes while leading the Chargers on two long drives to take a 14-13 lead over the Chiefs, including Herbert’s first touchdown pass in 12 quarters. Herbert finished with 213 yards on 21-of-30 passing. The teams traded field goals before Kansas City got the game winner as time expired.
