Jefferson City woman seriously injured after truck flips over in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 18-year-old Jefferson City woman was hospitalized after crashing her truck in Boone County Saturday morning.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving in a 2004 Ford F150 on Northbound US 63 south of Aufranc Road at 9:24 a.m. The report states the woman was driving too fast for conditions, which caused the truck to go off the right side of the road.

The truck then hit a road sign and concrete culvert and flipped over, ejecting the woman from the truck.

She was taken by ambulance to University Hospital with serious injuries.

According to the report, she was not wearing a seatbelt during the time of the crash.
