A 60-year-old woman is arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after 3 found dead in British care home

LONDON (AP) — Police say a 60-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after three people were found dead in a care home in southern England. Dorset police are investigating whether carbon monoxide poisoning caused the deaths. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Third says investigators are trying to determine if someone was grossly negligent. The deaths have been termed “unexplained.” Seven other people have been hospitalized as a precaution. Police say the home has been evacuated and there is no wider risk. A gas company says it was called to the Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage to make safety checks.
