COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Florida woman's body was pulled Monday from the Lake of the Ozarks, the Missouri State Highway Patrol says.

The woman went under the water and did not surface Saturday afternoon at the 45-mile mark of the lake's main channel, according to a Patrol drowning report. Kendra Potter, 42, of Englewood, Florida, had jumped from a pontoon boat that was moving before she went under, the report says.

Potter was not wearing a life jacket.

The Patrol wrote in a post on social media platform X that troopers found Potter's body Monday.
