West Old Plan Road in Columbia reopens after crash Friday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

West Old Plank Road in south Columbia is back open after a crash closed the road for several hours Friday morning.

The road reopened just before 6:30 a.m. after Columbia police were on scene investigating.

Boone County Joint Communications sent out an alert at 2:28 a.m. that the road would be closed.

ABC 17 News crews arrived on scene at 3 a.m. and saw two vehicles with extensive damage.

Crews on scene also saw several police vehicles, a fire truck and an ambulance.

ABC 17 News has reached out to the Columbia Police Department for more details.
