Columbia man killed in Callaway County crash Sunday morning

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Columbia man died in a crash in Callaway County Sunday morning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Trevor Wheeler, 21 was driving a boxtruck on U.S. 63 Southbound, 0.25 miles South of Renz Farm Rd. at 7 a.m.

The crash occurred when the truck traveled off the right side of the road and into an embankment.

The truck then crossed over Renz Farm Rd--over corrected-- and traveled back across the road-- before flipping over, the report states.

Wheeler was pronounced dead on scene.
