Autopsy finds a California couple killed at a nudist ranch died from blows to their heads

REDLANDS, Calif. (AP) — An autopsy found a Southern California couple whose bodies were found under their neighbor’s home in a nudist ranch died from “blunt force trauma to the head.” The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department released the cause of death of 79-year-old Daniel Menard and his wife 73-year-old wife, Stephanie, on Tuesday. The couple and their dog were last seen on Aug. 24 and reported missing to the Redlands Police Department by a worried friend. Their neighbor was arrested in their killings after police found the couple’s bodies buried under his home. Authorities have not revealed a motive in the killings.
