Large police presence in central Columbia early Sunday morning
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A large police presence was seen near and around the Petro-Mart in the 500 block of N College Ave. early Sunday morning.
ABC 17 News crews on the scene saw around 12 Columbia Police Department cruisers, an MU Health Care ambulance and an MU Health Care vehicle. A car at the scene was being investigated.
A Boone County Joint Communications alert was sent at 12:01 a.m. Sunday asking people to avoid the area of Paris Rd. and N College Ave. for a police incident.
