Nebraska is the latest state to add abortion to November ballots. What would the measures do?
Associated Press
Voters in at least nine states will decide in November whether they want to enshrine abortion rights in their state constitutions. Ballot measures will appear in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska Nevada and South Dakota. New York has a measure that supporters say will effectively guarantee access, though it doesn’t mention abortion specifically. A push to have voters decide began when the U.S. Supreme Court removed the nationwide right to abortion in 2022. Since then, citizens have favored abortion rights in all seven states where there have been votes.
